Open Adoption

Adoption is something to be celebrated! There is never a time when your child will not know who you are or that they are adopted. We are so happy that Hazel will have siblings that she can share the common thread of adoption with.

We have a wonderful relationship with Hazel's birthmother, Arlianne. We email, text and talk, send pictures and gifts, and visit whenever we can. Hazel will always know who Arlianne is and will always have a special relationship with her. We admire and love Arlianne so much, and are so grateful that she is a part of our family!

Arlianne's sister recorded this song for us, and gave it to us while we were at the hospital. Sara then made a movie out of it. We are so thankful for the open relationship we have with Hazel's birthfamily.
